Nepalhilfe Beilngries has a new management

The new management of Nepalhilfe Beilngires e.V. has been complete and registered with the registration court Ingolstadt since spring 2010. Changes had been inevitable after Karl Rebele, one of the founders and president of the organization, resigned in June 2009 because of health reasons. The need for a new management was seen to an appropriate time to overhaul the articles of association according to the experience gained in the past twenty years. The main aim was to place the responsibility for the organization on different shoulders.

After the registration court Ingolstadt agreed to the planned articles of association, the management has been extended with a deputy president and a secretary.

Claudia Thumann, who lives in Beilngries and works as a pharmaceutical assistant there, has been the organization’s treasurer since the foundation of Nepalhilfe Beilngries e.V. and she will keep this position. Hence her wealth of experience remains within the organization’s management.

The 54-year-old Ralf Petschl will lead the organization as the new president. Petschl, who lives in Beilngries and works in Ingolstadt as an engineer, has been a member of Nepalhilfe Beilngries since 1995 and was the candidate of choice for the vacant president’s position. The organization has achieved much both in Nepal and Beilngries since its foundation in 1992, always with the aim to support the people in the Himalayan country in various ways. We assure you that Ralf will do his utmost to lead the organization to further success.

The organization has a new deputy president. The founding member Manfred Lindner (50 years old), who lives in Beilngries and works at the Criminal Investigation Department in Ingolstadt, will take on this position. During his many travels to Nepal, he learnt not only a lot about the country and its people but also about the projects.

The new position of secretary is taken by Michael Rebele, who is the press officer of the police headquarters in Regensburg. The 55-year old Rebele is also one of the four founding members.

Michaela Rebele and Helene Pfaller will be responsible for the yearly cash audit.

Everyone is aware of the fact that the management of an organization is only as strong as the team behind the management. That’s why we have to thank Roman Meier, Werner Pfaller, Renate und Karl Rebele, Marianne und Werner Eisenhofer, Ingrid Petschl and Helga Lindner for their commitment and effort. Much of the work done by the former president on his own initiative and responsibility is to be shared among the members in the future.
