Shree Adarsha Primary School, Mulkharka
Rising number of puplis
The opening of the Primary School in Mulkharka in 1997 was supported by the famous mountaineer Peter Habeler. Like the school in Lapse, it was established for the youngest children and it takes about 45 minutes to walk from there to Kadambas. Because of the rising number of pupils, it is planned to add two new classes in 2011.
Three of the teachers there were themselves once pupils at the first school of the "Nepalhilfe Beilngries“ in Kadambas. Now they can teach what they have learnt – a great success that makes us proud.
During the visit of Manfred Lindner in February 2011 he promised a extension of 2 more classrooms for the increasing numbers of students.
