The primary school in Lapse was opened in 1996. The pupils from classes  1-3 are taught in this village, which lies 300m below Kadambas. So the little children are spared the exhausting climb up to Kadambas.

The school building is due for a new coat of paint, because of its age. An expansion isn´t necessary at the moment.
