Donation of a device for electrocardiograms for the Siddhi Memorial Hospital in Bhaktapur - November 2011

The president of the Siddhi Memorial Hospital kindly asked for a device for ECGs. The institution whose president Shyam Dhaubadel has been in touch with us for several years already received financial support for various projects (see Elderly people’s home or a new operating theatre etc.) in the last couple of years.

It shouldn’t be a big problem to make his wish come true. We were trying to find a local hospital in and around Regensburg and were successful. The hospital Wörth/ Donau had one of the devices we were looking for. The cariologist Doctor Christoph von Eisenhart-Rothe was responsible for the donation of this device and the coordination of the hand-over to Heribert Wirth (the owner of the Nepalitemple in Wiesent). Safely packed into an aluminium box the ECG was sent to Nepal. Thanks to the leading personnel of the hospital, especially to the president, Mr. Heinrich Karl, and to all those who made this donation possible.
