A visit in February 2013

The school whose construction was finished in 2011 comprises nearly 700 pupils at the moment. Numbers of students rise every school year. Vice-president Manfred Lindner could get an idea of the well-running school himself during his journey in February 2013.

The school is managed well and will give about 1000 pupils (grade 1 to 12) the opportunity to take their SLC (School Leaving Certificate) by the year 2015.

Officially Inauguration at 6th of February 2011

Manfred Lindner Vice-President of Nepalhilfe Beilngries was officially opening the biggest school of the Nepalhilfe together with other official guests from Dadikot and a representa tive of the German Embassy on 6th of February 2011 after 3 years construction period. Arniko Higher Secondary School starts with 450 students. This number will increase in the next years up t o 1200!

In his speech Manfred Lindner was honoring the work of former President Karl Rebele who was the initiator of the idea to build a school in Dadikot. A plaque is remembering for its m erits. During his speech Manfred Lindner hand over a letter of appreciation to the main coordinator of Nepalhilfe Beilngries, Sunil Shresta for his merits for this school.

Students of the school performed many dances  from different ethnic groups of Nepal. 

Januar 2010

This school, about 20 km east of Kathmandu, was inaugurated in February 2011. During the next three years, school enrolments are expected to rise from currently 500 pupils, who are currently taught in the old school building, to 1000 pupils. The first classes moved into the new building in May 2010.
