Theo Fritsche Schule I

Schüler:203
Lehrer:16
Lage:1568m

In the hills high above Lubhu with an excellent view into Kathmandu valley you can find Shree Bashuki Secondary School. Financed by Theo Fritsche, the Austrian mountaineer, it was inaugurated in 2007. Since the n a new class has been added every year. So, in 2012 for the first time students will sit their SLC exam.

Getting to school is not easy for the Tamang children. Some of them are on the “road” for two and a half hours through jungle-like terrain. No wonder that especially the little ones are afraid of getting attack ed by wild animals. Nevertheless, many students attend Shree Bashuki Secondary School regularly and are happy to have a new building as their school.
